ABOUT ME
Meti Spahiu (*1989) studied Architecture at the Faculty of Arts - North Macedonia and the Master's level at the Technical University of Vienna. After completing the Master's with the subject of architecture in Pristina at the Building Construction 1 Institute (Hochbau 1 – TU Wien), he came up with the idea of making the subject of his Ph.D. The doctoral topic has to do with the urban and architectural development of Pristina in the 25-year period. He collaborates with Prof. Dr. Barbara Engel from TU Karlsruhe - Chair for International Urban Planning and Design and as Co-Supervisor Kai Vöckler - University of Art and Design in Offenbach (HfG) - Institute of Mobility Design.
He is working as an architect, mostly with residential facilities, including all phases of construction. It has created a passion between architecture and the field of urbanism. Although they are two separate fields, he does not find any great difference between them. He thinks that in the future, he will practice both fields during his career.
Except for his main jobs, he is too active in architecture photography and is currently is working on the topic ''Architecture buildings in the context of the city'.
Below you will find next projects from him:
